Overview

AOM-2100D is Gigabit Ethernet Media Converters, which extends the 10,100 and 1000Mbbps twisted-pair network segments up to 120km over fiber technology. Supporting 10/100/1000Mbps auto negotiation on the copper port and 1000Mbps full-duplex on the fiber port, SFP/SC/FC/ST interface optional, and also SFP Slot support 1.25G/155M SFP modules with auto-negotiation function.

AOM-2100D is with DIP switch to set the LFPT function. Link fault pass-through (LFPT) is the function of media converters. This function prevents data loss in case of link failure. The media converters feature a pair of hetero links, such as a pair of copper links and fiber links. In cases of high data traffic, return losses, etc, the copper or fiber link may fail.

AOM-2100DP is Gigabit PoE Media Converters is designed specially to satisfy the growing demand for higher power required network devices, it complied the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. While using standard Cat5/5e/6 cables that carry Ethernet data, the converter can also provide power to a Powered Devices,such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points.
