Meet Your Industrial Ethernet Switch Supplier at SPS 2026

AOA Technology industrial ethernet switch supplier booth at SPS 2026 Nuremberg, Hall 1 Stand 518

SPS 2026 is where AOA Technology, an industrial ethernet switch supplier, exhibits — Nuremberg, Hall 1, Stand 518, 24–26 November. The bench runs live: DIN-rail switches, media converters, serial-to-fiber converters and SFP modules, with the engineers who build them on hand.

Why we exhibit at SPS 2026

SPS – Smart Production Solutions runs 24–26 November 2026 at NürnbergMesse (Messezentrum 1, 90471 Nürnberg, Germany). The 2026 edition is the 35th SPS and spreads across 15 halls; the organiser reported more than 900 companies registered as of mid-2026. For scale, the 2025 edition drew 1,175 exhibitors and 55,938 visitors over 122,000 m² (source: Mesago SPS official facts & figures).

SPS is where Europe’s automation buyers go to spec the hardware behind smart production: the switches, converters, and optical links inside every machine cabinet and control room. That is the layer an industrial network supplier like AOA builds. Three reasons this show fits our line:

  1. The audience works in our cabinets. SPS visitors spec control cabinets for factory automation, energy, rail and building systems — exactly the enclosures our DIN-rail hardware is designed for.
  1. Industrial networking is the growth layer. As plants connect more edge devices — robots, vision systems, sensors, remote IO — demand grows for reliable copper-to-fibre links and long-reach optical connections across the industrial network. That is where industrial media converters and SFP modules do the work.
  1. Specification beats brochure. Engineers who spec a -40 °C cabinet want to hold the unit, read the label, check the terminal block. That is a five-minute conversation on a stand and a six-week email thread otherwise.

What we will show at SPS 2026

Four product lines, all running. Ask for a live link negotiation, a console session, or a PoE load test on the spot.

1. Industrial Ethernet Switch

As an industrial switch supplier, our DIN-rail range splits into managed (IMS, DMS) and unmanaged (IES, DES) families, from 4-port gigabit up to 10G SFP chassis — the full industrial ethernet switch range is on the stand:

Model family

Type

Ports (copper)

Operating temp

Power input

IMS3200

Managed, 1 G

4 / 8 / 12

-40 to +85 °C

12–58 VDC

IMS5200 / IMS5300

Managed, 10 G

4 / 8 / 16 / 24

-40 to +85 °C

12–58 VDC or 100–240 VAC

DMS3200

Managed, 1 G

4 / 8 / 16 / 24

-40 to +75 °C

12–58 VDC

IES3204 / IES3208

Unmanaged, 1 G

4 / 8

-40 to +85 °C

12–56 VDC

Copper port counts run 4 / 8 / 16 / 24, and fibre port counts 1 / 2 / 4 / 12 depending on model. These DIN-rail switches come in L2 and L3 managed variants plus selected PoE models, all in an IP40 metal housing.

Redundancy is the part buyers actually test: RSTP and ERPS ring recovery (under 20 ms on supported models), redundant dual DC input with reverse-polarity protection, and surge protection on power and copper ports. The IES and IMS series carry CE / FCC / RoHS, with the managed industrial switch series additionally CB-certified; certification evidence is filed per model, and the full list sits on our industrial ethernet switch solution page. Industrial Ethernet switches are 5-year warranted, and every unit ships after full aging and throughput testing, with each new PCBA batch sampled for high-low temperature cycling. Factory capacity on this line is 200 switches per day (as of late 2026).

2. Industrial Media Converter

Do not confuse these with our commercial AOM / CMC converters — the IMC series is the industrial grade, and the difference is not cosmetic. The full industrial media converter range covers both grades if you need to compare:

Dimension

Commercial (AOM / CMC)

Industrial (IMC)

Operating temp

-20 to +65 °C

-40 to +85 °C

Housing

Desktop / mini, no IP rating

IP40 aluminium alloy

Mounting

Desktop, wall, rack

DIN-rail standard, wall optional

Power

External AC or DC adapter

Redundant wide-range DC input

Warranty

3 years

5 years

IMC units cover 10/100M and gigabit, with PoE variants (IMC1100P / IMC3100P) at 15.4 W or 30 W per port, fiber reach from 2 km to 120 km (the 120 km figure applies to specific speed and wavelength options — see the per-model datasheet), and IMC series industrial media converter carries 6 kV surge protection on copper and power ports. The converters themselves draw 5 W or less; PoE output power is rated separately. Factory capacity on this line is 1,000 media converters per day.

3. Industrial Serial to Fiber Converter

Every industrial serial to fiber converter we build exists for one reason: fieldbus traffic that has to cross a noisy plant floor. Serial fieldbus over fiber is the unglamorous part of a plant network that fails first. Industrial serial-to-fiber converters will be on the bench. So you can bring your own PLC and test Modbus-over-RS485 across a real fiber link before you commit. You can ask at the stand for the current model list and datasheets. The -20 to +70 °C figure is this serial line’s own rating; the switch and media converter families above are rated -40 to +85 °C.

4. Industrial SFP Module

Industrial SFP modules and the higher-speed optical modules alongside them are on the stand — the full SFP module range spans every common rate:

Item

Spec

Temperature grades

Commercial 0 to +70 °C | Industrial -40 to +85 °C

Compatibility

EEPROM codes matched per switch platform; custom codes on request

Testing

Full automated test + eye-diagram test, dust-free workshop

Capacity

5,000 pcs/day

The compatibility table is the part worth reading twice: every module ships with an EEPROM code matched to the switch platform, and we can write a custom code to your requirement. The full list sits on our compatibility page. Industrial SFP modules are 5-year warranted; commercial grade 3 years.

The factory behind the bench

AOA runs R&D and production in-house, and has released more than 10 new product series every year since 2008. Capacity on the three lines above is what stands behind any delivery date we commit to at the stand.

Every unit ships only after in-house aging and link validation under an ISO 9001 quality management system. Packaging meets PPWR requirements for the EU market, and industrial Ethernet switches are covered by third-party surge and lightning-immunity testing with reports available on request.

Looking for distribution partners in Europe

AOA is looking for distribution partners across Europe. We already supply system integrators, project partners and distributors in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Latin America from our own factory, so there is no trading house between you and the production line.

What partners get: factory-direct pricing, English datasheets, wiring diagrams and test reports, plus local-market marketing assets. Lead times for samples and mass production are listed in the FAQ below. Customisation covers silk-screen logo, label, colour box and manual (OEM), with ODM handled per project. If you run industrial networking projects, we work alongside your engineering team on component sourcing.

Plan your visit

  • Dates: 24–26 November 2026 (Tue–Thu)
  • Book a slot: pre-book a 30-minute technical session through our contact page and we will have the specific models, cables, and a test bench ready. Sample requests and lead-time questions are also faster face to face.

If you are sourcing industrial networking products for European installs, three days at one hall with four product lines on the bench is faster technical due diligence than a month of email threads.
